NEW! Halloween bangles!
Made in the “fishtail” style, Adahlia’s bracelets will step up your Halloween style while also supporting kids stuck in the hospital on possibly one of the WORST times to be there — during “Trick or Treat!”
Spooky Season and “Trick or Treat” is one of Adahlia’s favorite times of the year. But she remembers all-too-well what it is like to be in isolation and inpatient. And she can imagine how upsetting it would be to be hospital-bound on Halloween.
So, we’re teaming up to lift the spirits of kids who can’t leave the hospital on All Hallows Eve. For the last 6 weeks, Adahlia’s been selling bracelets to raise money to buy candy and other treats for those kids, as well as accepting donations of candy from neighbors and local organizations.
During the final week of October, Children’s Hospital Colorado hosts fun, season-themed events for their kids. The festivities culminate on October 31st, when doctors and nurses dress up to go reverse “Trick or Treating” door-to-door to the kids who have been admitted to inpatient units or are on isolation.
We will bring our “treats” to the hospital on October 30th. The next day, the BMT and hospital staff will distribute them to hospitalized kids on our behalf.
Don’t want a bracelet? You can still help! (Click the link to donate to help us buy items.)
If you have something “specifically spooky or kooky” in mind, send us a message to let us know what you want us to buy for the kids at Children’s, and we’ll do our best! :)
Bracelet deets:
Fishtail bracelets are very stretchy. Adahlia typically makes them about 6” long. One size will fit most. If you’d like your bracelet(s) to be a little bigger (7”-8”), just send us a message and let us know!
Thanks SO much for helping us help kids!
