Team Adahlia - "Rose" the Cheetah T-shirt
When Adahlia was 7 years old and receiving a blood transfusion, the hospital’s art therapist asked Adahlia to imagine and draw her Healing Animal.
Adahlia drew what she called: "Rose - The flying cheetah with healing paws."
Later that year, a glass artist blew a beautiful glass figurine of Rose. She was auctioned off for charity for $800 and then given to our family.
We then partnered with Budsies to create two one-of-a-kind Rose stuffies. They came with us to Seattle in 2023 for Adahlia's first two attempts at BMT, and are here with her now, watching over her transplant.
It' true that chemotherapy and transplant are fierce.
But we are smarter, stronger, and FIERCER in every way, including in our love.
